Accuracy of Information
Government offices can change phone numbers, office hours, addresses, fees, websites, and procedures without advance notice. Criminal-record systems also change as arrests are entered, charges are filed, cases are resolved, and records are sealed or corrected. Dallas County Criminal History tries to keep reference information useful, but it cannot guarantee that every detail is complete or current at the moment it is read.
An Arrest Is Not a Conviction
An arrest record is not proof of guilt. A charge may be declined, dismissed, reduced, amended, or resolved in the defendant's favor. A jail booking entry also does not show the final court disposition by itself. Records can later be sealed under Arkansas law, and dissemination of criminal-history information is subject to legal limits including Ark. Code Ann. sec. 12-12-1010.
Treat any record as a starting point. The originating court, sheriff, Arkansas State Police, ACIC, or corrections office is the source for current official status.
Verify With the Official Source
Nothing on this website is an official record. Court dates, warrant status, custody status, registry status, and certified copies must be confirmed through the agency that keeps the original record. For Dallas County, that may mean the sheriff, Circuit Clerk, District Court Fordyce department, Arkansas State Police, ACIC, Arkansas Department of Corrections, or a federal court or agency when the matter is federal.

It points visitors to the official offices and systems that may hold those records. Arkansas public access is governed in part by the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act of 1967, Ark. Code Ann. sec. 25-19-101 et seq., but exemptions, court rules, sealing orders, and privacy restrictions may limit release.
