Why Dallas County Registry Results Miss Some Offenders
ACIC's public registry is intentionally narrower than the full law-enforcement registry. Level 1 offenders are generally not listed on the public ACIC website. ACIC publishes certain Level 2 offenders, including the category described on its page involving an offender who was 18 or older at offense commission and a victim age 14 or younger. Level 3 and Level 4 offenders are published.
Unassessed offenders are another important limit. ACIC reported 5,091 unassessed offenders statewide as of June 4, 2026. A person who has not been assessed may not appear as a Level 1, 2, 3, or 4 public listing in the way a reader expects, and ACIC says offenders who fail to submit to assessment are assigned default Risk Level 3.

What a Registry Profile Shows
A public profile is a structured ACIC record, not a full criminal case file. It can help identify the listed person, the publishable address or mapped location, the risk level, and the offense information ACIC displays. NSOPW and Dallas County Residency Limits
